When I’m not out taking photos (like the one above), I write a (very) occasional blog, which currently covers three main areas:
Stuff about the history of biology, science fiction and what I call “biology as public culture” (a phrase I adapted from Jan Golinski’s excellent book, Science as Public Culture).
Sample of my “here’s an interesting fact…” style of research in progress.
Occasional bits and pieces about technology that’s specifically useful to academics.
